Hi! I’m Conny and I have been addicted to knitting since 2023. But it's not just knitting itself that gives me great pleasure. As a test knitter, I have noticed that I enjoy giving feedback to help improve patterns and translate them from English to German. And I have realised that I would like to share my passion for knitting with others who are interested.
What I Offer
Pattern Translations
You are a knitwear designer and want to sell your patterns in German-speaking countries as well? I am a native German speaker and fluent in ‘knitting language’. We agree on a price per hour or per word for the translation – or we agree on an individual fixed price for our pattern.
Test Knitting
I thoroughly test new knitting patterns in both German and English and provide very detailed feedback on the clarity of the instructions, spelling, formatting, fit, measurements and yarn usage. During the process and at the end, I provide beautiful pictures.
Editing
Your knitting patterns need some final touches? I revise and correct them very carefully and accurately in German or English – from spelling over grammar to syntax, formatting and punctuation.
Knitting Together
In my knitting courses and knitting meetups in northern Burgenland, I want to bring like-minded people together. At the same time, I want to share my passion for knitting – whether you're a beginner or an advanced knitter.

About Me
I am 42 years old and live with my husband and two children in Parndorf in northern Burgenland (about 50 km from Vienna). We live right next to a private swimming lake and enjoy it very much.
I was born and raised in Styria. After completing my marketing studies, I ended up in Vienna. I work as a product owner for a mobile app platform.
Besides knitting, my favourite pastimes are sports, sports, sports (preferably road cycling, tennis, yoga, but also lots of other sports) and crime novels.
As a child, I wasn't interested in knitting. I didn't learn it at school or from my mum (who knitted a lot). However, I did have a few creative hobbies: crocheting, making friendship bracelets, silk painting...
I started knitting in 2023. I taught myself everything with the help of YouTube tutorials and it quickly became an absolute passion. I love knitting because it has a meditative effect and I can create tailor-made and unique garments with this purely analogue activity.
